The Martin family headed by Fernando and Jeanette purchased the old Dorrien winery from the Seppelt family in 1984 officially opening it as Chateau Dorrien on 13 January 1985. In 1990 the family purchased the former ‘Karrawirra’ Winery in the Lyndoch Valley and renamed it Twin Valley Estate where production continues to this day.
