Day 1: Great Barrier Reef Full Day Tour

Check-in is from 7.15am to 8.00am at Reef Fleet Terminal 1 Spence Street Cairns. Please make your way to the Down Under Cruise and Dive counter to check-in.
Your Great Barrier Reef day trip begins by boarding award-winning superyacht Evolution and being met by our professional and expert crew who will make sure you are comfortable and ready for an adventure-filled day.
Relax onboard your 35-metre luxury superyacht for the day as you cruise from Cairns to two exclusive outer Great Barrier Reef sites. Guests enjoy the longest amount of time on the reef in a day tour with a total of five hours on the outer reef visiting stunning and diverse reefs such as Norman Saxon and Hastings. These locations are chosen for their exceptional coral density and prolific marine life.

Upon arrival at your first reef location either Saxon or Norman Reef it s time to snorkel and dive! Hop in the water with your provided snorkeling equipment for a look at multicolored fish coral and other marine life. Instruction is provided for beginners and your knowledgeable crew members are on hand to encourage and help you if needed. Or dial up the adventure with an introductory or certified dive.
During your time on the reef you will enjoy a BBQ lunch prepared onboard with fresh fish steak a variety of salads and prawns.

At the second reef location North Hastings Reef you can snorkel or dive again. If you prefer to stay dry you can still check out this World Heritage-listed underwater world on semi-submersible tour with live commentary by our marine biologist (additional cost) or from above with a 10-minute scenic helicopter ride (additional cost).
On the return cruise back to Cairns sit back and relax as you snack on cheese and biscuits with a glass of wine to celebrate the end of your day on the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 2: Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Full Day Tour

Your Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation 4WD Bloomfield Track full-day tour from Cairns begins with being met by your friendly accredited guide at your accommodation. After introductions we drive north along the magnificent scenic coastal route along the Captain Cook Highway learning about the history of the area and admiring spectacular views of the coastline and the Azure waters of the Coral Sea.

Stop 1: Daintree Rainforest River Cruise & Morning Tea – our first stop is at the Majestic Daintree River for morning tea (tea coffee & biscuits) before enjoying an informative guided River Cruise on the Daintree River. Relax and enjoy the splendour only the Daintree Rainforest can offer as you learn of Estuarine Crocodiles mangrove forests and endemic wildlife this is nature at its best!

Stop 2: Alexandra Lookout – we make our way up over the Alexandra Range and pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage Wet Tropics and Tropical Rainforest merging with the azure colours of the Coral Sea.

Stop At: Daintree National Park Tropical Research Station Cape Tribulation Queensland 4873 Australia
Stop 3: Guided Boardwalk Tour – experience the rainforest intimately on one of our guided elevated National Park Boardwalks. Your experienced guide will take you on a wonderful journey through this ancient rainforest whilst giving you an interpretation of flora and fauna and you will have ample time for photographs and questions as we search for the elusive rare and totally unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species within this particular habitat.

Stop At: Cape Tribulation Cape Tribulation Daintree Region Queensland
Stop 4: Wallabies and Lunch – we now make our way towards an animal refuge centre at Cape Tribulation where you have the opportunity to visit the wallabies get up close to Eclectus Parrots Pythons & other native wildlife.
We then make our way to a restaurant for lunch.

Stop At: Emmagen creek Daintree National Park Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Rd Cape Tribulation QLD 4873 Australia
Stop 5: Emmagen Creek Wildlife Spotting & Swim – we will take you beyond the famous Daintree Tea Plantation past spectacular mountains and through spectacular World Heritage Rainforest as we pass Cape Tribulation and continue along the 4WD Bloomfield Track through to pristine Emmagen Creek. Billy Tea Safaris is the only tour operator that goes to this secret Jewel in the Rainforest and now it is time for a refreshing rainforest stream swim in crystal clear fresh waters and without the crowds of people.

Stop 6: Cape Tribulation Beach – we then make our way to Cape Tribulation Beach after most of the crowds are gone stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers’ platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the ‘Rainforest meets the Reef.’

Stop 7: Daintree Icecreamery – Daintree s hidden secret the Daintree ice creamery. Your taste buds will be tantalised with exotic tropical fruit homemade ice cream. Sample unique flavours such as Black Sapote Soursop Wattle Seed Jackfruit and Coconut just to name a few. All the fruits used to make the ice cream have been locally grown on the property and can be purchased at your own expense. This is cash only no EFTPOS.
