Day One (D)

Meet the team at Federation Square and settle in to customized 4×4 vehicles to start your journey to Aire River campground your coastal camping destination for the evening. Learn how to set up a traditional Aussie swag and dig in to a delicious dinner around the campfire.

Day Two (B L D)

Breakfast is prepared as you pack up camp and get ready to explore your first stop of the day the Cape Otway Lighthouse where a community of koalas live amongst the Eucalyptus trees. You then make your way inland and head off-road in to the Cape Otway National Park traversing among abandoned logging tracks and rivers. Lunch is at a secluded river crossing downstream from Triplet Falls a beautiful three tiered waterfall that you head to in the afternoon.

A roaring campfire and dinner is prepared upon your return to Aire River West campground where you can try some kangaroo meat and a real Aussie BBQ. After dinner relax and enjoy the natural surroundings as you lookout for the nocturnal wildlife living within the area.

Day Three (B L)

Make your way to the iconic Twelve Apostles these limestone pillars are the go-to place for amazing photographs of the Great Ocean Road’s rugged coastline. Further along the coast is Loch Ard Gorge a natural beach inlet where you stop for lunch. As the afternoon draws to a close enjoy a scenic drive through the local beach towns of Apollo Bay and Lorne with plenty of stops for walking around and enjoying the coastal atmosphere before an early evening ride back to Melbourne.
