The ultimate Outback glamping experience each of the 15 safari tents has a king size bed (can be split) modern ensuite bathroom luxury amenities reverse cycle air-conditioning power and a private deck and fire pit. All tents are positioned to offer magnificent views of the sunset over Wilpena Pound.
Guests have access to all facilities including the restaurant bar pool and general store. The on-site Visitor Information Centre offers Aboriginal cultural guided walks by Adnyamathanha guides as well as 4WD tours bicycle hire and the must do scenic flights over Wilpena Pound and Lake Eyre.
The property is home to an abundance of native wildlife including kangaroos emus and wedge-tail eagles.

Stop At: Flinders Ranges Flinders Ranges South Australia Your next adventure will be the Half day Australia has the world’s oldest visible geology on Earth and much of this can be found in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges. The gorges around Wilpena Pound Resort provide an ancient and fascinating history of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges and are visible in the fossil layers and referred to as the Corridor Through Time . Explore more than 100 million years of this history as well as marveling at the rugged beauty of Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges. Search for Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies and enjoy sweeping views of Bunyeroo Valley and the eastern wall of Wilpena Pound. Visitors will learn about the rugged mountains including the moss rocks with their contrasting colours and the ever-changing flora of the area especially after the rain. Duration: 4 hours
