4-Day Australian Outback Tour from the Gold Coast to Sydney

Discover the Australian outback on this 4-day tour from the Gold Coast to Sydney. Day 1: Gold Coast to Leconfield/Coghlan (LD)

Immerse yourself in an outback experience as you visit the Boonoo Boonoo Falls where you will have spare time to wander through the amazing bushland amongst the wildflowers and uninterrupted views over the falls. Make sure to bring your swimming costume for a dip in the rock pools before enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch.

Discover Australia??s rich Celtic history as you visit the Australian Standing Stones. The stones were erected in memory of all the Celtic people who helped pioneer Australia. Here you will also have the opportunity to view the hide-out of New South Wales most notorious bush-ranger Captain Thunderbolt and visit the McCrossin??s Mill Museum.

Spend the afternoon trying your luck as you gold pan in the Uralla River and if you??re lucky enough to find some gold you??re free to take this home with you. Once you??ve finished gold panning enjoy dinner at the Uralla Hotel.

Day 2: Leconfield/Coghlan (B L D)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast travel towards Leconfield where you will visit the longest running jackaroo and jillaroo school in Australia. Here you will be given the opportunity to experience horse riding whip cracking sheep shearing lassoing view a working dog demo and listen in on an Aboriginal heritage talk.

Enjoy lunch and dinner on the farm.

Day 3: Leconfield/Coghlan – Capertree (B L D)

Head off towards Mudgee this morning for a full day of wine tasting. You??ll visit some of Mudgee??s top wineries including; Robert Stein Winery Farmer??s Daughter Wines and Huntington Estate Wines.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Mudgee Brewing Company as you indulge in the local cuisine and sample some of Mudgee??s finest brews followed by spare time and a BBQ dinner.

Day 4: Capertree – Sydney (B L)

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading off towards Jenolan Caves. Here you will spend the morning exploring the incredible crystal formations within the caves.

Next travel a short distance to the Blue Mountains and take in the picturesque views as you enjoy a delicious lunch at Scenic World. You??ll have spare time here to enjoy the Skyway Walkway Cableway and the worlds steepest Railway as you take in the stunning rainforest and picturesque views of the Blue Mountains.

Finish the day with a brief stop at Echo point for uninterrupted views out over the Three Sisters the Ruined Castle and Mount Solitary.

You truly will experience another world in the lush and lavish Blue Mountains before we head in to Sydney.
