Our state of the art imported Boom trike is the only one of its kind in Brisbane offering chauffeured tours. We provide an open air immersive experience visiting numerous places of interest. Our riders are very knowledgeable about the history and little known stories of Brisbane’s past. We travel on back streets and roads not suitable for tour buses and can provide close personal insight into aspects of Brisbane visitors often miss. Our visitors can expect to be able to say they truly visited Brisbane and were able to see how local people live work and play. All our tour routes are planned with the goal of providing the very best of views and places of interest so our visitors get full value. Stop At: Mt Coot-Tha Brisbane Botanic Garden Brisbane Queensland 4066 Australia

We will drop you off close to the lookout area and remain with the trike whilst you visit take photos purchase a snack or beverage and perhaps take a comfort break. This is the premier view point for Brisbane showcasing almost the entire city and suburbs with views to more distant offshore islands to the east and mountains to the north and south.

Stop At: Roma Street Parkland 1 Parkland Bvd Brisbane Queensland 4000 Australia

This beautiful parkland was created on land formerly part of the nearby Roma Street Railway. The tour allows time to take the rainforest canopy walk which winds its way through the treetops of the rainforest section of this beautiful park. We drive through and see the lake and fountain and the nearby waterfall.

We travel under as well as over this iconic bridge designed by the same person who designed the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. Without having a car roof over your head you will be able to look up and take full advantage of this wonderful and exciting view of this beautiful bridge.

You will first see this distinctive building with its green copper dome from the Story Bridge and then closer when we descend into the city. One of Brisbane’s best and most beautifully maintained historic buildings it was designed to look as beautiful from the River as it does from the street.

Having driven through the older historic precinct along the Brisbane River we pass many heritage listed buildings and the old Botanic Gardens with their huge fig trees trying to cross the road (yes really!) to arrive at Queensland’s Parliament House a beautiful French Renaissance style building situated diagonally opposite the mostly Italianate style iconic Queensland Club itself Heritage listed.

Pass By: Treasury Casino Top of Queen Street Mall Brisbane Queensland 2004 Australia

Formerly Brisbane’s Treasury Building and still handling mountains of money is Brisbane’s first casino locally just known as ‘the Treasury’. Located on the Brisbane River and facing Brisbane’s main street and CBD river crossing this beautiful heritage listed building still stands proudly on its prime location at the crossroads between travel to the south side of Brisbane the Heritage precinct behind and the shopper’s mecca of Queen Street Mall. Behind the Treasury Casino and the small but pretty Queen’s Park is the heritage listed Treasury Hotel (formerly the Lands Administration Building) and behind that the former Government Printing Office which is also heritage listed and has seven devils peering down on passers-by two of which are crouched menacingly on the roof of the parapet above the footpath. Easy to miss but your guide will show you where to look!

Pass By: Brisbane City Hall Clock Tower Brisbane City QLD 4000 Australia

Brisbane’s City Hall heritage listed and officially finished in 1930 it has recently undergone extensive renovations and work on foundations which were found to be sinking. The clock tower is open to visitors as is a fine local artefact museum….but unless you have earplugs don’t visit the clock tower at 12pm!! The tour passes close by and then further away to a point where there are fine views of the tower and building.

Pass By: The Old Windmill Wickham Terrace Brisbane Queensland Australia

One of only two remaining convict-built buildings the old windmill has had a chequered past. Initially built to grind grain and fitted with sails it proved to be ineffective so over the years served as a time-ball tower for passing ships a lookout for bushfires a tower for early TV test transmissions and sadly a convict hanging place. Adjacent to the windmill are the old covered subterranean water tanks the roofs of which can still be seen (all empty now) and further down the road three examples of the remains of WW2 air raid shelters.

Pass By: St. Brigid’s Catholic Church 78 Musgrave Rd Red Hill Brisbane Queensland 4059 Australia

Set atop a commanding position atop a very steep hill in the old heritage suburb of Red Hill known for its impossibly steep streets and equally impossibly tall building stumps St Brigid is an impressive red brick building the bricks all of which were individually purchased by donations people buying and donating one or more bricks each…..it’s said that so many bricks were purchased that it was decided to forgo huge stained glass windows in the archways instead having strip windows and the rest filled with bricks. From St Brigids the street below drops alarmingly as one of Brisbane’s steepest in the hopes that the saint will watch over all who venture down!

This beautiful white Italianate confection of a building with its cool loggia is the home of Queensland’s Governor of the day. Although not open to the public except on special occasions nevertheless a good view of the building is available from the street outside.

Pass By: New Farm Park 1038 Brunswick Street New Farm Brisbane Queensland 4005 Australia

When the purple jacaranda is flowering (around October) this park is a joy and even when not still most pleasant to drive through this park by the river and see the incredible children’s playground built around and through a huge banyan tree. The streets nearby have many heritage listed examples of Art Deco buildings and the area behind towards Teneriffe has a tree-lined shady street bound on one side by numerous old warehouses now converted to inner city boutique style apartments.

Pass By: Newstead House Cnr: Breakfast Creek Rd & Newstead Avenue Newstead Brisbane Queensland 4006 Australia

Situated on a prominent position where Breakfast Creek runs into the Brisbane River and with views up and down the river Newstead House is Queensland’s oldest surviving private residence although is a museum nowadays. Opening times are varied but access to the grounds whether the building is open or not is always available. If you wish to go inside Newstead House please enquire first to see if it is open when you wish to tour. The tour route and timings will then be altered to accommodate stopping here.

Pass By: South Bank South Brisbane QLD Australia

Sights along this stretch of the tour include viewing the Parklands from the perspective of the trike driving down near the Maritime Museum and along the Brisbane River to climb up to the famous views from Kangaroo Point above via a little-known winding back street that hugs alarmingly close to the busy Southeast Freeway on past an enclave of hidden homes old and new big and small.

With views along two reaches of the Brisbane River towards Mt Coot-tha and with the city and old Botanic Gardens spread out on the other side of the river the roadway along the top of the cliffs provide breathtaking views of the River City.
