The UNESCO World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains are one of the most popular attractions for travellers in Sydney. Only an hour and half from the city centre the Blue Mountains is as diverse as it gets. From pristine creeks huge sandstone canyons waterfalls bushwalks small towns and of course the world famous Three Sisters let us show you the absolute best the Blue Mountains has to offer.

Stop At: Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre Glenbrook New South Wales Australia
A quick coffee stop at the beautiful township of Glenbrook will be sure to wake you up and get you ready for the day. We will stop at the Blue Mountains Visitor information Centre to allow you to pick up maps and any other items you need for the day.

Stop At: Murphys Glen campground Turpentine Walking Track Blue Mountains National Park NSW 2787 Australia
Our first true taste of the incredible natural beauty on offer takes you off road driving along the Woodford Ridge before descending into the cooler valleys at Murphys Glen. After a 30 minute walk along cool creeks dazzling ferns and some steep rocky descents we end up at the picturesque Bedford Creek Pool. This natural fresh water pool is the perfect spot to freshen up with a swim relax listening to the sounds of birds or sit back and enjoy a snack. After a refreshing stop we walk back up to the car and head west for our next adventure.

The wild and wide plateau known as the Kings Tableland has more than a great view to offer. Our first stop at Lincolns Rock gives you your first glimpse of the amazing canyons and natural formations that make the Blue Mountains a global icon. Get a photo high above the valley before a short drive to learn about the diverse Aboriginal Culture of Sydney and the Blue Mountains. You’ll get a chance to visit one of the oldest shelters in the greater Sydney area dated at over 22000 years old. We will see engravings of kangaroo and emu tracks and see a variety of grinding grooves along the top of the ridgeline. If we are lucky you can often see Sydneys skyline in the distance on a clear day!

A day trip to the Blue Mountains wouldn’t be complete without a stop for a photo at the Three Sisters. This natural geological feature has drawn millions of visitors and is the number 1 thing to see in the Blue Mountains. We will stop for a short time to get a photo and take in the breathtaking views from Echo Point.

Stop At: Grand Canyon track Evans Lookout Road Blue Mountains National Park New South Wales Australia
Tighten up your boots for this adventure deep in to a spectacular fern filled valley. After a quick stop at Evans Lookout we’ll descend down the Grand Canyon Track. You’ll feel dwarfed as you look up at the valley walls beside us and the towering trees overhead. The cool ferns always delight and the sounds of the water flowing down carving out the valley as it has for millions of years puts your mind to rest. We will stop at the bottom of the valley to soak up the environment before making our way back up to the car for lunch.

Stop At: Leura Leura Blue Mountains New South Wales
The Historic Township of Leura the smaller sister to the better known Katoomba is a delightful place to stop for lunch at any time of the year. Fill up on some local produce as we discuss the days adventures. You will also get an opportunity to check out some of the local shops whether it be arts crafts antiques or some local made lollies.

Stop At: Mount Hay New South Wales 2787 Australia
Our final stop for the day takes us north towards Mt Hay and the Grose Valley. Thirty minutes of offroad driving beside steep cliffs and at times under waterfalls keep a good eye out for wildlife and the spectacular native flowers that attract nature lovers from all around. Once we reach our end point its a short walk to the end of the track taking in views of Mt Hay the distant views of townships Sydney and ofcourse the Grose Valley. Feel at the mercy of mother nature as we soak up the sights 300m above the ground. A must do photo before we return back to the car is a must.
