We arrive at Wilson’s Prom for our first hike for the day. A short walk leads us through beautiful terrain to the Big Drift Wilsons Promontory sand dunes; a peaceful and other-worldly landscape often missed by other visitors to the Prom .
After you ve captured plenty of pictures of the dunes we take a short drive to the general store for lunch before our main hike for the day Mt Oberon. We embark on a 6.8 km return hike to the famous Mt Oberon’s summit to soak up the best coastal views in Victoria.
Our next stop is Tidal River for a cheeky ice cream (you ve earned it) before we head to Squeaky Beach. Wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz and you’ll soon find out how this popular local beach got its name.
Finally as we depart the National Park we make one final stop to see our furry native friends including Wombats Emus Kangaroos and Wallabies going about their daily business. It s a beautiful way to end the day.
